In Darksiders 2 there are a number of arms, armatures and talismans very rare that can make Death the ultimate war machine, practically invincible.

Guide to unlocking Darksiders II Legendary Weapons

Obviously finding these Legendary items is not the easiest thing to do in the game, so let's see in detail where you can find the best scythes, armor and talismans and what you need to do to unlock them.

NOTE: the names of the objects are in the original language. The locations where the legendary weapons are found are translated, but there may be some divergence from the Spanish version.

Legendary Sickles

Chaos catch
Area: Tri-Stone
How to unlock: Complete Darksiders 1 (you must have an achievement / trophy saved on your profile for completing the game) then talk to Muria to receive this weapon.

Area: The Nook
How to unlock: Defeat the boss of this area.

Black Demise
Area: Maze of the Arbiter of Souls
How to unlock: Find the secret chamber in the 5th level of the maze, then find the sacred tomes. Follow our guide to the Labyrinth for more help.

Demonflame Renders
Area: The Black Stone - First Floor
How to unlock: On the first floor of the Black Stone, where a couple of enemies (the soldier and the champion) face off, you will find a circular pit on the east side of the dungeon. Inside the wellhead, move down and climb the wall to find another hidden path, you will find this weapon there.

GnoMAD scythe
Area: N/A
How to unlock: You will unlock it automatically by finding the 4 Gnomads that are scattered around the game. Follow the collectibles guide to find all 4.

Goldbringer
Area: The Ivory Citadel - Second Floor
How to unlock: In the southern part of the map, where you have to solve a puzzle to overcome the water pipes, you will find the corruption crystals. If you destroy the crystals, a switch will appear and open a gate. Follow the water pipe to the end to get the weapon.

Guillotine
Area: The Fjord
How to unlock: Complete the "Stone on Stone" side mission. Follow the guide to the side missions to complete it.

Lifebane
Area: The veil
How to unlock: It can only be unlocked in "New Game +" mode. In the new game, defeat the Icebound Guardian to unlock the weapon.

Barbed Defilers
Area: The Crucible - Trial by Fire
How to unlock: Complete waves 51-75 of Trial by Fire. Follow our Trial by Fire guide for more help.

 

Legendary Secondary Weapons

Absolution
Area: The well of Souls
How to unlock: Defeat the Boss "Absalom" to get this weapon. You will meet this boss during the main quest.

Fangs of Achidna
Area: Psychameron
How to unlock: Defeat "Achidna" to get this weapon. This assignment will be given to you by Thane in one of his side missions. Refer to the secondary mission guide for more help.

Aftermath
Area: The Crucible - Trial by Fire
How to unlock: Complete all 100 waves in a single session to unlock this powerful weapon. Follow our Trial by Fire guide for more help.

Dark Avenger
Area: The Cauldron
How to unlock: Defeat the Boss "Gharn" to get this weapon.

Executioner's Hook
Area: Maze of the Arbiter of Souls
How to unlock: To get this weapon you will have to solve the Soul Arbiter's maze and defeat the final boss. We have a dedicated guide that will help you do everything.

Fists of Elhazar
Area: Ground - First Floor
How to unlock: While you are on land and escaped from the Noss to the underground tunnel, look for a room in the hotel with a lot of garbage. There you will find a kind of hidden niche with this secondary weapon.

Gauntlets of Savagery (only for those who have the Pre-order bonus)
Area: Tri-Stone
How to unlock: Complete the bonus DLC Karn quest.

Gorewood Maul
Area: The Weeping Crag

Lich spines
Area: The city of the dead - First floor
How to unlock: When you leave the central part with the statue and enter the north corridor, use the ledges to get to this weapon.

Mace of the Everflame
Area: The Black Stone
How to unlock: Defeat the Boss “Samael” to get this weapon. You will meet this boss during the main quest.

Masher of Karkinos
Area: The Drenchfort
How to unlock: Defeat the Boss "Karkinos" to get this weapon.

Omega Blades
Area: La Fucina - Second floor
How to unlock: after fighting through the constructs, an underwater passage can take you to the shadowbombs where you can grab one and return to the previous location. Destroy the crystals to reveal the weapon.

Scepter of the Deposed King
Area: Lair of the deposed King
How to unlock: Defeat the Boss "Argul" to get this weapon.

Spear of Storms
Area: Shadow’s Edge – Tomba 4
How to unlock: For the "Book of the Dead" mission, take all 40 pages of the book to Vulgrim to gain access to Tomb 4 and unlock this weapon. Refer to the secondary mission guide for more help.

Talisman Demonheart
Area: Lair of the deposed King - Tomb 2
How to unlock: For the "Book of the Dead" mission, take the first 20 pages of the book to Vulgrim to gain access to Tomb 2 and unlock this weapon. Refer to the secondary mission guide for more help.

Elemental Talisman
Area: The Crucible - Trial by Fire
How to unlock: Complete all 100 waves of Trial by Fire in a single session to gain access to Wave 101. Here you must defeat K. the Evil to unlock this talisman. Follow our Trial by Fire guide for more help.

Grim talisman
Area: Tri-Stone
How to unlock: Complete the "Shaman's Craft" side quest that Muria will give you. Refer to the secondary mission guide for more help.

Heartstone talisman
Area: The Crucible - Trial by Fire
How to unlock: Complete waves 1 - 25 of the Trial by Fire. Follow our Trial by Fire guide for more help.

Hoardseeker talisman
Area: Lostlight – Tomba 3

Area: Boneriven - Burial Area Passages 7
How to unlock: In Boneriven (Area 7 - Burial Passage 2) you will find it in the first corner as soon as you enter the area.

Legendary armor

Pauldron of the Horseman
Area: Tri-Stone
How to unlock: All you need to do is unlock any Darksiders 1 achievement / trophy with your account. The character Muria will give you the armor.

Abyssal boots
Area: The Crucible - Trial by Fire
How to unlock: Complete waves 26 - 50 of the Trial by Fire. Follow our Trial by Fire guide for more help.

Abyssal shoulder straps
Area: The Crucible - Trial by Fire
How to unlock: Complete waves 76 - 100 of the Trial by Fire. Follow our Trial by Fire guide for more help.

Armatura Abyssal
Area: Tomb 4
How to unlock: For the "Book of the Dead" mission, take all 40 pages of the book to Vulgrim to gain access to Tomb 4. In the tomb, destroy the 12 vessels and this armor will automatically be added to your inventory. Refer to the secondary mission guide for more help.

Abyssal gloves
Area: The Fjord
How to unlock: To unlock this armor you must complete the "Lost Relics" side quest by bringing the 30 relics from Ostegoth. Refer to the secondary mission guide for more help.
