Like the other unlockables in the game, even for the extra arenas and leagues you must basically continue playing to complete the objectives proposed in the various events. Here's everything in detail:

Armageddon '03: Complete all objectives for Armageddon '03 in 2K Showcase.
Backlash '03: Complete all objectives for Backlash '03 in 2K Showcase.
