Balan Wonderworld: The playable demo is coming next week

Square Enix today announced that a free demo of Balan wonderworld, the new platform action from the creators of Sonic the Hedgehog. The demo will be available from January 28th and will allow you to play the title for two hours before its release, scheduled for 26 March. The demo, which can also be played in company in local co-op or single-player mode, will be available for all platforms on which the full game will be released: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC.

Two players can explore the game world as protagonists Leo and Emma in local co-op mode, combining the powers of different costumes to access new paths not available in the single player! To activate co-op mode, simply connect a second controller and press any command on it. Utilizing the wide range of costume powers, players will be able to collect Balan figurines in each level and access the hidden Balan's Bout mini-games. The demo will include three of the twelve magical worlds of Balan wonderworld.

Balan Wonderworld is an action platformer centered on the mysterious Balan theater and the enigmatic master Balan. The stars of the show will use the special powers of a variety of colorful costumes in their adventure in the bizarre and fantastic world of Wonderworld, where real memories and landscapes blend with those dear to different characters. Twelve different stories await our stars at Wonderworld, each with its own particularities. Players will fully explore the labyrinthine scenarios, face the Denied and try their hand at mini-games hidden along the way, to get to the heart of the moving stories. In the demo we will be able to play three of the many areas of the game. The 1 world, set in a farm born from the memories of the farmer Jose Gallard, the 4 world, born from the heart of Chang Haoyu and his passion for open skies, where the sky is dotted with bicycle parts and floating islands, and the 6 world, which tells the story of Cass Milligan and depicts the town where she met a cute kitten.
