Bravely Default 2 shows itself once again through a full-bodied final trailer, the last before the release of the title, now imminent. The footage was shared during the Nintendo Direct of 18/02/21 and shows several new characters and interesting ideas regarding the plot. A look is also given to the combat system, which closely follows that of the previous iteration, and to the jobs, important customization mechanics of the various characters. The game's release date of Square Enix, exclusive on Nintendo Switch, is set for February 26 2021, just over a week of waiting then.
Bravely Default 2 is a new stand alone chapter, therefore it is not to be considered a real sequel of the previous iterations, however many references to the previous chapters will be present in the game. We will meet new characters, including the four protagonists that will keep us company during the story told in this new epic JRPG set in the continent of Excillant, where within it there are five different kingdoms. We will play the role of a young sailor named Seth, a refugee princess named Gloria, a traveling magician named Elvis and the mercenary Adelle. Together they will have to fight their way through a thousand dangers on a long journey across the vast continent and different kingdoms.
Speaking of Square Enix, not only Bravely Default 2 was shown during the last Nintendo Direct, in fact a new game was also announced coming from the studios of the Japanese publisher, called Project Triangle. The title, which will be released in 2022, would seem a spiritual successor to Final Fantasy Tactics, also the graphic setting is very reminiscent of another IP of Square Enix, also released on Nintendo Switch, Octopath Traveler. For now it is available on Nintendo Store a Demo of this new one Tactical JRPG. Furthermore, once the free trial is completed, you will be able to fill out a questionnaire about the game, useful for giving feedback to the creators, who will thus be able to make adjustments to the game based on the different experiences of users.
