A few hours after the official announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the new and highly anticipated chapter of the famous shooter series, Activision has decided to officially reveal the cover art of the title. As had already been shown by the teaser trailer released in the last few hours, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be set in the period of Cold War, and the official cover art seems to play on this thing, through fragments of propaganda posters and a figure divided in half showing two men, on one side a Soviet soldier and on the other an American soldier. The title will therefore take place in the late 60s, and according to some statements released by Activision, it could be based on real events.

Right now the title doesn't have an official release date yet, but it would appear to be on its way by the end of this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One e PC, as well as for next-generation consoles PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X only later. We remind you that the title will be developed by Treyarch e Raven Software, the studio that for the first time appears as co-developer of one of the main chapters of the famous series after having previously worked on Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered, Call of Duty Modern Warfare e Call of Duty Black Ops 3. We therefore remind you that the complete reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will arrive within Call of Duty: Warzone next week, more precisely Wednesday 26th August. So we just have to wait for more information on the next chapter of the famous video game series, which could arrive later this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and next-generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the latter officially arriving in November.
