Closed cinemas? An English chain rents the rooms to gamers

As you well know, the health emergency caused by the coronavirus has brought several sectors to their knees, especially that of movies e theaters, which with the new guidelines of the DPCM last week they saw their theaters closed again, until next November 24th. The question arises spontaneously, is it possible to revive the fortunes of a sector which has been largely hit by the pandemic and which is causing a violent economic crisis?

La Odeon, famous British film chain, has decided to implement an extravagant initiative, or that of reinvent their rooms and make them available to gamers. The campaign was widely advertised by the same company, through its Twitter account, where it claimed that one of its first users was the very famous YouTuber PewDiePie, which currently has over 107 million followers, who enjoyed playing on the big screen a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

At the moment we do not know how long the various game sessions last and which titles can be played, but according to information disseminated on the net, the cost of renting a room would be around £ 100 (around € 110). What do you think of the interesting initiative of the well-known British film chain? Would you like to see it also in our country, above all to revive a sector that is largely in crisis?
