We also know that the adaptation of the television series is set in the universe of the 2001 title, dealing with the conflict of the 26th century involving humans and the Covenant, the aliens who threaten its existence. Along with all this there will also be personal stories that will be deepened during the adventure and the action moments. The Head of Creative, CBS, President and CEO for Showtime Networks David Nevins, saying:

The show offers the visceral excitement of playing, along with a much deeper emotional experience around the Spartans, human beings who have chemically and genetically modified their humanity. The story is about claiming what makes them human, and therefore it is a very powerful story.

Currently the production is still in progress, we also know that the shooting had reached about 60% when everything was stopped due to the onset of the pandemic. During the meetings of the multinational ViacomCBS he had pushed the show towards Paramount + several times, including during conversations between Bob Bakish, president and CEO of ViacomCBS, and David Nevins Russo of Showtime, who last fall said: “We were hunting of special programs beyond the Star Trek franchise on CBS All Access and we were thinking, what could be a defining series for Paramount + ”. It was then the viewing of the first completed Halo video that gave the idea of involving Paramount + in the work.

For the Halo television series we have Pablo Schreiber as interpreter of the famous Master Chief Spartan John-177, Jen Taylor will play Cortana, the most advanced artificial intelligence in existence, while Natasha McElhone will play Dr. Halsey, creator of the Spartans.
