Control: Ultimate Edition, unveiled the launch dates on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S

The development studio Remedy Entertainment, in collaboration with the publisher 505 Games, announced the dates that will mark the debut of Control: Ultimate Edition, in the Sony versions PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X / S, in both format physical and digital, but in two separate launch windows. In digital version the title will be launched next February 2 2021, while physical versions will be available starting next year March 2.

For the occasion, the developers have published a new trailer dedicated to the various graphic and technical improvements that the Ultimate Edition of Control will guarantee owners of the new generation consoles. The video shows, among other things, the possibility to choose between Performance mode and Graphics mode. The first will guarantee a graphics engine nailed to the 60fps for the maximum possible fluidity, the second will give precedence to the graphic impact (and therefore to the quality of the textures), but lowering the frame rate to the value of 30 frames per second.

Control was originally launched in 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (first on Epic Games Store, later also on Steam), to then make its debut a few months later also on Nintendo Switch and Amazon Luna (October 2020). Finally, for some weeks now, there have been rumors about the possibility that Control, in the standard version, may soon make its appearance among the pages of the catalog of Xbox Game Pass, thus becoming one of the many excellent titles available for subscribers to the Microsoft service.
