Crytek: will the next game be a Crysis-themed battle royale?

It looks like the next big title of Crytek could be one free-to-play battle royale set in the universe of Crysis. The latest leak would indeed reveal the first details about a game called Crysis Next. As you will know shortly after the announcement of Crysis remastered (here you can read our review), Crytek had confirmed via a job listing on their website that a brand new Triple A game was in the works. Until now, details regarding this project were rather scarce, except that this new game could be set in the Crysis universe. This assumption is supported by the fact that the working title of this free-to-play battle royale will be, as already mentioned above, Crysis Next. The leaked documents reveal:

Crysis Next is a free-to-play Battle Royale game in which hundreds of players collide in frantic combat. Visual customization, the adaptive powers of the nanosuit and visually spectacular combat in an immersive world create the best live streaming experience. The Crysis franchise has all the features to make a Battle Royale unique. The gameplay, the style and the environment. High production value.

Leaked documents of Crytek hints at a new battle royale called Crysis: Next. Other projects (could be pitched, canceled, or in the works) are mentioned in said documents:

In addition to the text, you can also see illustrations for the game from the leaked documents. Furthermore, in addition to Crysis Next, from these documents it seems that Crytek is working on at least three other titles, that is Ryse Next, Robinson 2 e Hunt Mobile. If it gives me so much, Ryse Next could in turn be a battle royale dedicated to the Ryse game, released exclusively on Xbox One at the launch of the console. Obviously none of this has been confirmed by Crytek and we suggest you wait for official confirmation from the development team before jumping to hasty conclusions.
