Cyberpunk 2077 and the removal from the PS Store: CD Projekt sheds some light

In the past few hours we have reported the decision by Sony to remove, until further notice, cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, and that the company is working hard to process the refunds of all players who are currently disappointed by the action RPG. CD Projekt RED. As you well know, the Polish software house is very active on the social side and wanted to specify, through the release of a post on its official Twitter account, that the decision was made in common agreement between the two companies.

In the release, the development team is keen to clarify that only the distribution of the digital version of the game has been temporarily suspended, so if you are still interested in giving a chance to the latest effort of CD Projekt RED on PlayStation 4 and / PlayStation 5 (despite the various critical issues reported in these days on consoles), you can easily buy a physical copy of cyberpunk 2077, at physical and online stores. Following our discussion with PlayStation, the decision was made to temporarily suspend the digital distribution of Cyberpunk 2077 on the PlayStation Store. You can still purchase physical versions of the game in physical stores and online. All purchased digital and physical copies of the game will continue to receive support and updates as we continue to improve your experience.

According to our knowledge, as of today, anyone who is unwilling to wait for updates and wants to refund their digital copy of the game can do so by submitting a request to https://www.playstation.com/cyberpunk-2077- refunds /.

We are working hard to bring Cyberpunk 2077 back to PlayStation Store as soon as possible.
