The highly anticipated event Night City Wire gave us the opportunity to learn a lot of new information about cyberpunk 2077 and to see new stages of gameplay and a new trailer. Surprisingly though, CD Projekt RED e Trigger studio have announced an anime series dedicated to the title titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Accompanying the announcement was not a real trailer, but a video in which the producers explained what this series will consist of.
As revealed in the footage, the series will arrive in 2022 su Netflix, but it is not yet clear if it will be available.
We are excited to announce that together with the highly acclaimed Japanese animation studio, Studio Trigger, and the world's leading streaming service, Netflix, we are working on a new anime series set in the same universe as Cyberpunk 2077!
CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS tells a 10-episode standalone story about a street kid trying to survive in a futuristic city obsessed with technology and body modification. After losing everything, he chooses to become an edgerunner — an outlawed mercenary also known as cyberpunk.
