    Cyberpunk 2077: developers admit, the game was not supposed to come out in 2020!

    According to what emerged from a report by Jason Schreier by Bloomberg, the developers of CD Project Red they knew that cyberpunk 2077 not ready for launch in 2020. According to the words of the development team, the main difficulties encountered would be due not only to the health emergency caused by the COVID-19, which has literally revolutionized the way of working of the Polish software house, but also to the creation of the new graphic engine. According to the developers, given the progress made in 2019, the title should have been released only in 2022, also because the team found itself working on both the game and the engine at the same time. A decision that one developer defined as:



    try to drive a train, while the tracks are laid in front of you at the same time.

    Although the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 has been well received by the public and critics, that console (especially on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) she was literally massacred by the players, due to the continuous crashes and bugs that have made the CDPR action RPG practically unplayable. Fortunately, in recent weeks, the software house has released several hotfixes that have greatly improved the conditions of the title, although many critical issues continued to persist. The same Marcin Iwiński, co-founder of CD Projekt Red, reassured fans in a recent video message that their priority is to improve game performance on current-generation consoles. Only after that the developers will devote themselves to the free DLC and the launch of the next-gen version for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
