The thing that did not convince the fans at all was its appearance, very different from what was shown previously.

Despite this, it seems that the fans did not like at all how it was rendered Keanu Reeves in game, since in the cinematics it was obviously presented with a much better aspect. In the reddit posts there are those who have come to talk about a graphic downgrade, a rather incorrect term since the one where the actor appeared was only a CGI, although very accurate compared to the graphics of the game.
