Cyberpunk 2077 will have two game modes and a new patch on day one

A few days after the launch of cyberpunk 2077 Many details have emerged on the latest effort by CD Projekt RED. The game not only already features a patch available for download on Xbox Series X and will have ben two different game modes (Performance and Quality), but will also receive another corrective update on launch day. According to information leaked by the lucky ones who received the title in advance, the update would require 43.5GB of internal memory and it would be the latter that introduced the Performance and Quality modes to Cyberpunk 2077.

At the moment it is not clear what benefits these two new features introduce, but it is presumable that the Quality Mode enhance the graphics of the game, while the Performance Mode ensure a higher frame rate. Furthermore, according to the recent words of Fabian Mario Döhla di CD Projekt RED, the update released in the past few hours would not be attributable to the day one patch, since the latter will be released only on the day of the launch. Therefore, the space required by the action-adventure RPG of the Polish software house on the internal memory of the console could greatly exceed the dreaded 56GB of update files.

Waiting to find out more details on what awaits us in Night City, we remind you that cyberpunk 2077 will make its debut in stores and online next December 10 2020 and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. Only then will it be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S, through the release of a substantial update, totally free for those who have purchased a current-gen version of the game.
