Deep Down: Yoshinori Ono is still confident about the future of the project

Deep down, the famous branded project Capcom which was presented to the public during the launch event of PlayStation 4 in the distant 2013, is today a video game practically disappeared if not completely canceled. Since then, Capcom's free-to-play action RPG has definitely experienced a negative period from which it has never recovered. Despite this, however, the software house has always kept the brand active by registering it several times until 2020.

At the moment, however, we know nothing about the development of the title, except in a recent interview Yoshinori ono of Capcom is back to talk about it:

“I haven't been called Mr. Deep Down in a while. The original team no longer exists, but people may have noticed that we have consistently kept the trademark registered and haven't quite given up yet. Every year we review which titles we want to do in the future and bring projects to be approved and developed. There isn't much I can say about it, but the fact that we have kept the brand means that we have not given up hope completely ”.

Ono's statement is not the best in terms of expectations, but if any of you had placed high hopes in the title it is not said that sooner or later the game will come out of this interminable dark period.
