Dragon Quest: the writer Saori Kumi denounces Square Enix

The writer Saori Kumi, which in the past has been involved in creating a literary transposition of Dragon Quest V, had sued the staff of Dragon Quest: Your Story According to the writer, in fact, the staff had used part of her work, in particular the name of the protagonist, Hero, without asking her permission, thus going to violate Japanese copyright laws. Today, Kumi has a new lawsuit filed against Square Enix and Toho, directly demanding 2 million yen for damages, in addition to a public apology from both companies. That request comes after months of Japanese Dragon Quest fans supporting his cause through crowdfunding platforms.
