The videogame world, like many others, is also made up of welcome returns. The good Drew Murray, "Ex" of Insomniac Games who was currently working with the software house The Initiative di Xbox, has just announced that he has returned to his previous development house with a new role, that of Principal Designer. To announce it himself through a tweet released on the well-known social network that, for your convenience, you can find at the end of the article. This is the text of his tweet:

I guess ten years, five games and six different roles weren't enough. I am thrilled to join many friends and former Insomniac Games colleagues as Principal Designer. This leads me to fill the seventh role; now i just need to work a few days and play games, right?

Drew Murray's resume speaks for itself: he has been in the world of video games for a very long time and has held various roles in as many highly decorated companies with top-level products: Ratchet & Clank, Sunset Overdrive, Resistance e Resistance 2 and others. At the moment we do not know if with the new role within the studio Sony will begin to take the reins already from the soon-to-be-released title Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, or if it will immediately dedicate itself to the new and future product, perhaps to a new chapter of Marvel's Spider-Man for PlayStation 5. Drew Murray has spent the past two years at The Initiative helping to create the Perfect Dark reboot, and even appeared in the announcement trailer at The Game Awards. Below you can find Drew Murray's posts in which he announces his decision to leave The Initiative and the one in which he announces his return to Insomniac Games:

After two crazy years of contributing to the founding of The Initiative and the reboot of Perfect Dark, it's time for me to say goodbye. Working side by side with such a talented team, many of them now great friends, has been wonderful, but my life outside of work requires more attention and dedication than I have been able to give it lately. I leave.

I guess ten years, five games, and six job titles just wasn't enough. I'm excited to be rejoining many friends and former colleagues at @insomniacgames as a Principal Designer. That takes me to my seventh job title; now I just need to work some days and make some games, right? pic.twitter.com/gCK4z4OVUY
