Finally, the first, albeit unofficial, information related to the long-awaited begins to emerge Final Fantasy XVI. We had already talked about the game in our dedicated article, but today it finally seems that something is moving.

Although there is nothing in concrete terms, the attention of fans has been caught due to an update published by the American site Twisted Voxel. Up Twitter dedicated would appear the private profile of Final Fantasy XVI, with an attached email linked directly to Square Enix. To fuel all this now there is a voice that sees the sixteenth final fantasy to be announced at a Sony event scheduled between September and October.

The same site in the past had already tested the feedback method for the remake of Prince of Persia, which turned out to be actually concrete. However, although these rumors may be disproved at any moment, we are sure that Square Enix is ​​actually dedicating itself to a new chapter in the saga. In fact, not counting the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy XV it came out way back in 2016, four long years of silence that make us think that, actually, something can boil in the pot. Always referring to some rumors that have emerged in recent months, it seems that Final Fantasy XVI will effectively represent an important return to origins, abandoning the more modern style of the fifteenth and re-embracing a more fantasy concept. The development of the game should have started during 2018: initially it was thought that he was at the helm of the project Yoshida, well known director of Final Fantasy XIV, but the latter denied it just a couple of months ago.
