GDC: the organizers announce a new summer event

After the cancellation of the GDC 2020, the organizers were considering the possibility of a summer version of the event. Well, recently Informa Tech confirmed this by announcing the GDC Summer, which will be held next August at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. More specifically, the event will start on August 4th and end on 6th.

It will maintain the same level of conferences that usually take place in March, with technical content, discussions and talk show, all aimed at talking in detail about the background regarding the development of video games. However, the organizers have specified that health remains the main concern, which is why they will continue to carefully observe the evolution of the situation to ensure an event that is as safe and exciting as possible.
