Hearthstone: here are all the news on the Year of the Phoenix

After theYear of the Dragon, Hearthstone he chose the Phoenix as a symbol to be represented. Blizzard officially announced theYear of the Phoenix, which will come into force from 7th April along with expansion Outer Lands Ashes, detailed in this article. In addition to a new class, the Demon hunter, of which you can find all the info in the following article, the card game will receive many new features.

Additionally, the Witchwood, Operation Apocalypse and Rastakhan's Challenge sets will be part of the wild format. A new league-based rank system - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond - will animate the path to the Legend rank, providing rewards and checkpoints whenever 5 consecutive ranks are reached, as shown in the following photo.

The ranked matchmaking system will soon be improved and the rule that avoids duplicating Legendaries will now be applied to all rarities, making the booster system much more interesting and engaging for veterans and new players. The latter will also have access to a free competitive deck of a class of their choice, through a menu that will be offered to them in the early stages of the game.

The Year of the Phoenix seems to offer several interesting innovations, as well as many new mysterious additions which will be revealed over the next few months and the next expansions.
