Horizon: Zero Dawn 2, a job announcement confirms its development

Released last February 2017, we finally have some news regarding the sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn. In the past few hours it has emerged from the official website of Guerrilla Games, that the software house is looking for a "Technical Vegetation Artist" to work on "stunning environments in Horizon". Given that the title has already been available for some time, it is likely that this refers to a potential sequel. The announcement goes on to state that Guerrilla has a total of four teams dedicated to developing the environments in Horizon.

Although this is the only ad that explicitly mentions the work of Guerrilla Games, there are other announcements related to a new open world game, which could be another reference to a new chapter dedicated to Aloy. Regardless of the projects that the software house (owned by Sony) is really working on, it is likely that the new chapter of Horizon: Zero Dawn will be released on the upcoming PlayStation 5, which will be unveiled during the holiday season in 2020.
