Nintendo Switch Pro and Breath of the Wild 2: the comment of Doug Bowser

Nintendo Switch Pro and Breath of the Wild 2: the comment of Doug Bowser

New rumors have come out about the much chat Nintendo Switch Pro and equally desired The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2. He has also recently expressed himself on these two topics Doug Bowser, president of Nintendo of America, who gave some information about it in the interview made by Polygon.

The interviewer Russ Frushtick, co-founder and senior editor of Polygon, he wanted to analyze what the future plans of Nintendo, more precisely about what this 2021 will bring, now at the gates, also trying to unearth some information about the Nintendo Switch Pro, about which we talk a lot but about which very little is known. Doug Bowser sadly didn't say much about it, who commented saying:

What I mean is that we will be releasing content, on a regular basis throughout the year. And there is a lot more to come, of course, if you think about our IP which we will release when it is right, when it is ready and when we have great gaming experiences. In the meantime, however, we continue to rely on what I think is still a very strong program for these holidays and a very large catalog.

First, we always look to technology. As we know, technology is constantly evolving and changing. We are always looking for what is coming to determine: how can it enhance and improve the gaming experience? Whether on a current platform or a future platform, we are always looking for this.

However we have seen right now that the momentum on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite in the fourth year is strong. We believe we are changing the trajectory of another typical console life cycle. And we will continue to do so, in the near future, we will rely on both platforms and the resulting content, because it is the symbiotic relationship that makes the real difference. And that's why the Nintendo Switch is so differentiated.

As for the more information about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, unfortunately, nothing to do, there are no good news. The title seems to have great chances of coming out for the 2021 holidays, if we listen to the leak released by Emily Rogers on Twitter, Nintendo insider, but from Doug Bowser there is no news on the matter. When asked for some information about Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4 and the sequel to Breath of the Wild, the president of Nintendo of America responded by saying:

As we progress on any title and feel the time is right, we will share with the community where we are in the development. At this point, however, I have nothing more to share about these titles.

There is no good news about anything, unfortunately, but Nintendo Switch still has a lot to offer and as for Zelda, you can take a look at the recent Hyrule Warriors The Age of Calamity, musou title for Switch that serves as an interesting prequel to Breath of the Wild.
