The new update for Playstation 4, which carries the console Sony to firmware version 7.51, with the aim of further improving system performance. The update has a weight of about 471 GB, and could have been introduced to solve the numerous problems that the last update had given to some users, who immediately reported some strange errors that prevented the PS4 reading discs or ejecting them correctly, as well as no longer being able to see the images being broadcast from the console on the TV.
Here is what is reported by the official Playstation site:
A PlayStation 27 system software update is available from 05/2020/4. You can use it to update the system software to version 7.51. This system software update improves the quality of system performance. Always update your PS4 system to the latest system software version available. With the update, you can use several additional functions and have greater security.
The latest system update is of minor importance though, and the notes officially released by Sony they only mention better system performance and does not implement any kind of new functionality in the console operating system. It therefore remains to be seen whether it will be able to solve the numerous problems introduced with the last system update, 7.50.
