PlayStation 5, users report the drifting of the DualSense analogs

Despite the limited availability of PlayStation 5 in the months following its launch, which would finally seem to be resolved starting next month, the next-generation console of Sony had record sales and according to Jim Ryan this new system recorded the best launch ever as regards the gaming side of the Japanese giant. One of the best aspects of the PlayStation 5 and cornerstone of many marketing bells is the Dualense, the new pad that makes the gaming experience with the latest Sony console unique thanks to the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. In recent days, however, this controller seems to be at the center of several controversies mainly concerning a alleged drifting of analogs, reported by several users on Reddit.

This problem does not seem to be even new, given that already in the first weeks following the launch some users had pointed out that their controller did not respond accurately to commands, especially as regards the sticks. In a video posted a few hours ago on Reddit, a user showed how the view of the title he was playing was moving by itself, without giving any type of input to the analogs. This problem affects several pads from different companies, in fact this problem will not be new to owners of Nintendo Switch, which months after its launch in 2017 in many users reported unpleasant drift to their own Joy-Con.

Fortunately, players who experience this problem will be able to take advantage of the warranty Sony, which also covers the possible problems that could afflict the DualSense, so if your analogs start to give incorrect inputs you can still make use of the assistance without having to put your hand to your wallet. If, on the other hand, you want to deepen our thoughts on DualSense, we leave you to our review that delves into every feature of Sony's revolutionary pad.
