Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, confirmed the new playable character

It's been practically seven days since the event entitled PS5: The Future of Gaming, and since then fans around the world are increasingly curious to find out more information on the line-up of the future console of Sony Interactive Entertainment. One of the video games that has managed to kidnap the public the most is certainly Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the fifteenth video game in one of the longest-running series in PlayStation history. With a spectacular gameplay and amazing speed in loading game environments, this alleged sequel to Ratchet & Clank: Nexus seems to be one of the best works ever made by the boys of Insomniac GAMES.

One of the elements that most fascinated fans, at least from the announcement trailer, is the mysterious character who appears in the last seconds of the video who, it seems, knows the little robot Clank. In the style in which this purple Lombax was presented, many have hoped for its presence - in fully playable form - within this Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. The development studio's response was not long in coming, given that through its Twitter profile the American company confirmed that not only is it a playable character but that it even comes from a parallel dimension.

This announcement has raised several questions in the imagination of fans: will the gameplay of this mysterious Lombax use its mechanical arm and its futuristic hammer? Is this girl related in any way to our hero's past? How similar will it be to the style of play that the series has had for eighteen years? Waiting to discover all this curious information, together perhaps with the actual release date of the product, we remind you that Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is not the real sequel to their previous work dedicated to this popular franchise.
