Resident Evil 8: Village, will the title support VR?

Resident Evil 8: Village will support a great feature exclusive to the version PlayStation 5, or at least that's what a major industry insider claims. This indiscretion comes from Dusk Golem, a famous insider who in the past has leaked various details on the eighth chapter of the famous Horror saga of Capcom which turned out to be correct.

At the time of the announcement, Capcom has not announced any support VR for the title, but as revealed by Dusk Golem this support will be provided just like the previous chapter, which was entirely usable in Virtual Reality on PlayStation 4.

Also for anyone concerned about Resident Evil 8's frame rate, which appeared slightly unstable in the trailer shown during theevent dedicated to the PlayStation 5 lineup, the leaker invites you to trust. The game, in fact, would not only point to 30 fps stable, but even ai 60. This is because virtual reality games generally require a higher framerate to be playable. Obviously none of this is official, and we advise you to take such rumors with a grain of salt.

According to some rumors, Capcom would be working in parallel with the sequel by Resident Evil 7, to the remake of the fourth chapter (in our previous article we explain why the idea does not convince us), and ad another remake still shrouded in mystery. For now, no news on a possible remake of Dino Crisis.

Resident Evil 8: Village will arrive in 2021 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X. More information regarding the title should arrive by the end of the summer.
