Returnal: the new and suggestive trailer shows us the atmosphere of Atropos

In the last few hours the new and suggestive trailer for Returnal, the title developed by Housemarque and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment which will be released next April 30 2021 exclusively on the new Sony home console, PlayStayion 5. While previously released trailers were focused on the character of Selene and the particular combact system of the title, the latter offers us the opportunity to take a deeper look at the planet that we will find ourselves forced to face during our adventure, Atropos, characterized by its alien and changing nature and by the presence of mysterious technologies alien.

After making an emergency landing on this unknown planet, Selene will find herself confined to a real time cycle, where, with each death, she will be forced to relive her adventure from the beginning, trapped in a seemingly infinite loop. The evocative atmosphere of Atropos will change at the beginning of each cycle, and the same is true for all items that players will have at their disposal. Each rebirth offers new possibilities, forcing users to break out of the box and pushing them to face fights with an ever-changing strategy, maximizing its replayability. During the journey to try to free our protagonist from this loop, players will find themselves exploring a vast world, embellished with the mysterious ruins of an ancient civilization and ready to change completely at any moment.
