Ruined King: A League of Legends Story brings Runeterra to PS5 and PS4

One thing we can be sure of without being mistaken is that many have forgotten about by now Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. Announced almost a year ago during the Game Awards of 2019, this game sees Riot Games begin expanding the franchise's reach beyond its MOBA roots. Just in the past few hours, Riot has announced that this new title will arrive at the beginning of 2021 and will have the opportunity to land both on PlayStation 5 that of PlayStation 4. The next generation version will be released after the PS4 version, however it has also been made clear that the update from one console to the next will be available for free.

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is a single-player turn-based RPG developed by Airship Syndicate, the team behind Battle Chasers: Nightwar e Darksiders Genesis. Set after the events of Burning Tides, will let us explore two key areas of Runeterra: Bilgewater and Shadow Isles. We will form a party with several famous characters from League of Legends, such as Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri and Pyke.

The game marks the debut of the League of Legends franchise on console, released under the new Riot Forge label. More information on the game is expected in December, presumably during this year's Game Awards, so we recommend keeping an eye on the new details coming soon. On top of that, were you aware that Riot's Australian office recently officially closed down? In our dedicated article, let's talk about it better!
