During the showcase of Sony dedicated to the new generation console PlayStation 5, Insomniac Games showed the first gameplay trailer of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, set about a year after the events of the previous chapter, Marvel's Spider-Man. Harlem, Miles' hometown, is on the verge of being torn apart by a war between an energy company and a criminal organization armed with advanced technology. The gameplay video gives us for the first time the chance to see the powers of Miles Morales, an alternate version of the classic Spider-Man by Peter Parker. This new hero will be extremely characterized, thanks to the new animations, movements, mechanics and unique powers, such as bioelectric discharges and invisibility. The gameplay video, captured in real time on PlayStation 5, gives us the opportunity to see the features of the next generation console, such as the Ray Tracing, clearly visible in the combat sequences.
The gameplay of Spider-Man: Miles Morales seems to preserve the same features of the previous chapter, but at the same time it is possible to notice a huge leap in quality, especially as regards the animations and the extremely suggestive environments, full of lights and details. The title will be available on the next generation console in the winter period, although an official release date has not yet been released.
