Star Wars: in development a new Knights of the Old Republic?

Bespin Bulletin, credited insider of Star Wars, claimed in a recent podcast that a new video game in the series Knights of the Old Republic it would be in development with an as yet undisclosed team. It has been reported in the past few weeks that a new game KoTOR was in the works, but this is the first time that we talk about the title in question already in development. Lucasfilm announced this month that it would license Star Wars games to other companies, including Ubisoft. According to Bespin Bulletin, a KoTOR sequel is apparently one of the titles that was handed over to a developer outside of EA. Here are the words of the insider:

In my research, I have heard that there is a Knights of the Old Republic project in development somewhere. I talked to a couple of people and also found out that Jason Schreier said he won't have EA involved and that we will never guess who the studio is making this game.

Nate Najda di Wushu Studios, another insider who occasionally shares information on unannounced games, also confirmed that a new KoTOR is in development:

KoTOR's new development team isn't as mysterious as people think. It's simply not a household name that most people are aware of.

Published in 2003, the role-playing game developed by BioWare tells a story of Jedi versus Sith set about 4.000 years before the rise of the Galactic Empire in the film Star Wars of 1977. Obsidian created a sequel, namely The Sith Lords, in 2004 and there hasn't been a main game in the Knights of the Old Republic saga in the next 17 years (unless you count EA 2011's MMO The Old Republic).
