A seventh character, still shrouded in mystery, could soon enrich the already rich roster of participants offered in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, title available exclusively for the small hybrid console by Nintendo, switch, since December 2018 (here our review).
The character, not yet announced or confirmed, should be part of the novelties that will be introduced in the game starting from the publication of Fighters Pass Vol. 2, for which the news of the introduction of six new fighters has already been confirmed (among which are Final Fantasy Sephirot and the protagonists of Minecraft). The indiscretion arises from a post published on the well-known Reddit portal by a user known by the name of RiuBert. As explained, all games and DLCs on Nintendo eShop have a unique code that distinguishes them (NSUID). The codes related to the first set of characters introduced with the dedicated DLC, starting from the Piranha Plant up to the introduction of Byleth, are ordered chronologically by 70050000008501 a 70050000008506. This is followed by the bonus Rex Mii costume, offered to all who purchase the first Fighter Pass, whose term code with the digits "8507".
As for the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which should contain the seventh bonus character not yet revealed, the fighters are listed from code 70050000018967 to code 70050000018970, with the following “18971” and “18972” reserved for the two characters not yet announced. The reward code for the bonus costume Ancient helmet and related equipment, however, ends with the NSUID with the numbers "18974“Instead of ending with“ 18973 ”, as one would expect after“ 18972 ”. Hence the mystery and the brilliant intuition of the Reddit user.
It is therefore possible that in the next few days, or in the next few weeks, Nintendo will unveil an additional bonus character that will soon enrich the Super Smash Bros Ultimate roster, available from 7 December 2018 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
