The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, an edition is coming for PS5 and Xbox Series X

CD Projekt RED has recently announced that an edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently in development for Sony and Microsoft's next-gen consoles. According to the release of the Polish software house, the new version of the game was developed to take advantage of the powerful hardware of the new peripherals. The next generation edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PC, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will feature a number of visual and technical improvements, among which ray tracing and faster loading times in the base game, in both expansions and all extras.

But that's not all, as the next-gen edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available not only as a standalone game on PC, Xbox Series X e PlayStation 5, But also as free update for current owners of the game on PC, Xbox One or PlayStation 4. At the moment the well-known Polish development team has not announced any launch window or official release date of the next-gen version of the title, but we expect to find out more details in the coming weeks, perhaps on the occasion of the next one Night City Wire, Durante it Tokyo Games Show 2020, or shortly before the release of cyberpunk 2077 expected for the next November 19 2020.
