Tomb Raider Reloaded: revealed with a trailer the new title for mobile devices

From the now reboot of Lara Croft in that chapter named only Tomb Raider, released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC (plus various secondary devices) in the not too distant 2013, our treasure hunter has come a long way. The chapters released later have always proved to be excellent titles from all the various points of view, giving greater credibility and a definitive maturation to the brand. More than two years have passed since the last game Shadow of the Tomb Raider, today Square Enix wanted to release an interesting teaser trailer for the next chapter, although it will not be a true sequel to the canonical trilogy: Tomb Raider Reloaded.

The video that you can comfortably see at the head of the article shows almost nothing of the game but rather reveals the style and part of what we might find in front of us. This interpretation of the future chapter, in release on mobile devices in the course of 2021 (no official release date for the moment), it seems to be decidedly "prettier" and fantastic than the trilogy we know well. Developed by Emerald City Games and the mobile team of Square Enix London, Lara's new adventure seems to be more carefree than what she is used to, while maintaining the difficulties and classic battles of the series such as golems, dinosaurs, giant spiders or environmental puzzles and traps. The company wanted to describe Tomb Raider Reloaded as "a free action arcade game", a sign therefore that the release of the work will not be paid.

It is not the first time that we have seen Lara Croft in a mobile adventure: in the past, in fact, we have seen her debut in Lara Croft Go and in the action game Tomb Raider: Relic Run. Confident and hopeful of the success of this new product, we await more information about it and a decidedly more "massive" gameplay trailer. In the meantime, we wish you all good viewing.
