Watch Dogs: Legion, postponed the arrival of the multiplayer mode

Freezing shower for all players of Watch Dogs: Legion, the latest chapter in the futuristic series of Ubisoft released a few weeks ago on the consoles of the new and old and generation and set in one London controlled by the so-called Albion. Full of features and varied gameplay and strongly influenced by the choices we make, the title will have a multiplayer mode that, based on what was previously announced, will allow you to interact with other players in the British capital. Unfortunately, however, we will have to wait a bit before we can do it.

Ubisoft, on the occasion of the release of the notes relating to the last update patch of the game, has in fact communicated that the multiplayer mode will be released during the 2021, as the software house is currently focused on solving the various critical bugs which undermined the gaming experience during the first few days after the game was released in stores. Among these are the loss of progress in quests and saves, as well as various crashes that can occur during the game. Below is the short press release from Ubisoft, provided on the sidelines of the release of the2.20 update:

As part of our efforts to address the issues that have emerged in the game, we have decided to postpone Online Mode to early next year. This will allow us to focus on troubleshooting the single player mode and give us the time to test the online experience more thoroughly, in order to ensure an optimal launch for this mode.

Considering the severity of these issues, it is comforting to know that Ubisoft is heavily committed to addressing them, in order to provide a gaming experience which, as reported in our review, can rely in particular on an intriguing plot and main missions.
