The well-known insider Sabi recently posted a series of tweets related to two major Nintendo Switch titles that have not yet been announced. Let's talk about a Paper Mario it's a Metroid in 2D, both games that would surely be very popular with the community. According to the rumor they would be arriving on the hybrid console in the course of 2020.
Sabi also shared further details, stating that Paper Mario will return in a more traditional style, therefore more tied to the old chapters of the series. As for Metroid, the project would be somewhat related to Metroid Fusion, and it could be a real sequel to the episode released on the Game Boy Advance. At the moment these are still rumors, so we will have to wait for official confirmations from Nintendo. Below are the various tweets:
Having looked into it for a bit, I find it reliable enough to complete back the mentions of Paper Mario and Metroid (not prime 4) for 2020. I'll tweet out the details I back based on talks I had.

The 2D Metroid game does in fact seem to be related to Fusion, also sounds as though it's set for this year.
