After the great success achieved with Alien: isolation, the classic film franchise born from the mind of Ridley Scott back in 1979 back in a new videogame iteration, which this time will embrace a far more cooperative spirit. Today, in fact, Cold Iron Studios has finally announced their new project, which will take the name of Aliens: Fireteam. This title will be a survival horror game that can be played in company thanks to its co-op nature, where a group of Marines will have to find a way to escape from the hive of these horrible alien creatures.
Set in the iconic universe of the film series of the same name, Aliens: Fireteam catapults players into a title that will challenge even veterans of the pad. A very original title, which blends one third person shooter to a survival horror, in which our team of brave soldiers will have to try to contain the threat of the Xenomorphs in a desperate fire fight. The events will be set about twenty years after the conclusion of the original trilogy of films, where in the shoes of an experienced soldier of the navy we will be called to play a leading role in an attempt to contain this terrifying alien threat. You can customize your team by choosing up to five different classes, so as to build and refine your strategy as best you can, so as not to find yourself unprepared for the hordes made up of more than twenty different types of aliens (11 of which are different types only of Xenomorphs).
In short, Aliens: Fireteam seems like a title to keep an eye on, and already after its announcement trailer in many fans of the survival genre or of the film series in general can not wait to get their hands on this project, which for has now set its launch window for next summer, coming to both current-gen consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S e PC, but it will also be available on PlayStation 4 e Xbox One.
