Starting from 30 July, the players of Animal Crossing: New Horizons to Nintendo Switch, will receive the new and full-bodied summer update for the title that will bring lots of news about it. Among the many additions we immediately point out what for many is considered the most important feature of all that was missing within the Nintendo work. In fact, in just under two days it will finally be possible to exploit backup saves and restore them also on a new console, so that if a Switch should break, or play on the same island with a friend or relative, you will finally be able to take advantage of a second screen. Below we list all the relevant updates and we leave you to the video at the top of the article.
- Fireworks - Every Sunday afternoon at 19:00, many and colorful fireworks will illuminate your island throughout the month of August. By using the stars, you will also be able to receive lottery tickets to obtain various summer items. Finally, the fireworks will even be customizable through the chosen motifs.
- Dreams - It will finally be possible to take a nap between a trip and a harvest of fruit and flowers. To do this, just lie down on your bed and, at this precise moment, you can choose to dream and we will be welcomed by Sonia which will take us to the islands of other players who will choose to share it. All this will happen thanks to the "dream codes". We inform you that, during the dream, no player action, good or bad, will be saved as it is not a real journey but simply an exploration.
- Island backup - Exactly as we said above, it will now be possible to back up your saves so that, if the console is lost, damaged or stolen, you can easily recover all your files.
