During an interview granted to Ultimania, Tetsuya Nomura explained his plans related to the Kingdom Hearts brand. In fact, it seems that the third chapter will not be the last: to confirm it are the words of the designer himself, who says another chapter will be released before Kingdom Hearts 4.
In short, not only the fourth will be done, but even before then we will be able to wield the keyblade again. The finale of the last chapter has actually left the doors open a bit, and certainly neither Nomura nor Square Enix will want to miss this IP that seems, despite the years it brings, to continue to keep fans glued.
