Assassin's Creed Valhalla could make a change to the franchise

Assassin's Creed Valhalla could make a big change to the franchise formula. Specifically, the voice actor Magnus Bruun of the protagonist Eivor recently made an appearance on a Danish talk show, in which he had the opportunity to discuss about the upcoming Ubisoft title, as well as hinting that it could involve a big detour in the footsteps followed by the series.

We know that in the vast majority of Assassin's Creed games, players start the game by already being part of the Assassins or joining them at some point from the very first missions. However, Bruun's comments made viewers speculate that this might be different within Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Speaking with the talk show host, the voice actor said:

[...] and behind there is this imaginary story that you live as a player, where there are two main secret beliefs, which identify themselves as the Knights Templar and the Assassins and you as a starting point are generally part of the Assassins, however not I can reveal anything related to the new game.

Based on the way Bruun formulated this claim, it seems to suggest that there will be something different about joining Eivor to the Assassins; however, it's possible that fans are just hoping too much for this statement. We already know that Eivor will meet a member of the Assassins at the beginning of the Valhalla storyline and that he will get the hidden blade from the very beginning. We remind our readers that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be launched this fall for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, Xbox OneXbox Series X e PC. Did you know why the Hidden Blade is on display in this chapter? Ubisoft explained it!
