We have known for some time, more or less since the announcement of the game, that in Assassin's Creed Valhalla the level system introduced by Assassin's Creed: Origins will be abandoned and subsequently expanded in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and for this reason it could be expected that to accompany the return of the much loved hidden blade there would be the return of instant kills through the use of this weapon, just as it happened at the dawn of the series and finally comes a confirmation of the reintroduction of this mechanic.
As reported by the well-known Kotaku newspaper, in Assassin's Creed Valhalla it will be possible, in stages stealth, silently eliminate enemies with one shot. Due to the aforementioned level system it was no longer possible to carry out this type of killing in the event of a level gap too high, but, to the delight of all veterans of the saga, the hidden blade will once again acquire the function it once was.
Regarding this, the creative director of the game, Ashraf IsmailSaid:
We wanted to look at the old games and see the strengths those chapters had and recognize what works in the current formula. There was an identity and uniqueness that we wanted to reintroduce to Valhalla.
We remind you that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be available by the end of 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
