Assassin's Creed: will the new chapter arrive in 2022?

Ubisoft does not stop, and after the recent release of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, of which we still have to see the different DLCs of the game, which are already beginning to leak the first rumors about the realization of the next chapter of the saga. All this is not surprising, Ubisoft has accustomed us over the years to the publication every two years, in some cases even annually, of the main chapters of the assassins franchise, coming to release two titles in the same year, as happened in 2014. with the case of Arrogant e Unity, which dealt with: Ubisoft Sofia e Ubisoft Montreal. All this is possible, without too many drops in quality, thanks to the different divisions of the company, each of which can work on a different project from the other independently.

To bring out new rumors about Ubisoft's future projects were two YouTubers with their posts on Twitter. Asked by the first one we read, a Dutch YouTuber, if the next chapter in the franchise of Assassin's Creed will be released in 2021, replies the partner of Twitch and French YouTuber Jonathan, who replies: "First quarter of 2022". The window he proposes in response therefore refers to the year 2022, exactly within the first three months. There would therefore be about 12 to 15 months to go until the next title in the saga could be released, according to this revelation. Also hearing this other rumor leaked by the Assassin's Creed art director, Rafael Lacoste, would you be working on a chapter set in Persia, be it the same game?

Also according to what the French YouTuber writes, it would seem that Ubisoft Sofia will take care of the project, who we know has contributed with the creation of several AC chapters. This is the Bulgarian division of the company, founded in 2006, which in the past led the development of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars for Nintendo 3DS, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation on the PlayStation Vita portable console, and later on Assassin's Creed Rogue on home consoles. Recently the Sofia division has also worked as a support studio for the realization of the DLC for AC Origins: The Curse of the Pharaohs.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla will still take all this 2021 in order to be thoroughly investigated, it is after all an excellent chapter that since its basic version is rich in content and fun to play. The latter title was a choral work of the various firms of the company, but followed predominantly by Ubisoft Montreal. However, it would seem that the subject of this item in particular may be a low-budget game, as happened in the case of Rogue, from which a game at the levels of Valhalla can hardly come out with regards to the number of contents. We therefore look forward to knowing more, hoping that Ubisoft does not fall into the drama of the serial production of the chapters, recalling what happened with the Unity chapter, which came out far too soon.
