During the event entitled Panel From Hell, Larian Studios revealed the highly anticipated new release date of the version Early Access di Baldur's Gate 3, the title which is based on the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons, and is placed immediately after the epilogue of the paper campaign Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus, at a time distance of about 100 years from the second main chapter, developed by BioWare. After official postponement caused by some complications due to the health provisions envisaged to limit the spread of the COVID-19 emergency, the team finally seems ready to release the Early Access version of the title, which will be available starting from the next September 30th, both as regards the version PC than that for Google Stadia.
According to statements released by Larian Studios, the Early Access version will be accompanied by one large amount of content, which will amount to approximately 20 hours of gameplay overall. Classes and races will be announced soon, but Larian Studios confirmed today that Baldur's Gate 3 Early Access will include five different characters in addition to player-customized ones, although more may be announced during Early Access. .
Through some gameplay videos and some interactions with the audience, Swen Vincke demonstrated how the game allows players to discover the differences in encounters and dialogues, depending on the characters the players decide to play and their choices. This depth of responsiveness means that, even in Early Access, more playthroughs will lead to different results and developments not only for the players and their companions, but also for the many NPCs that players will be able to meet and for the world around them. In very simple terms, playing in different modes will offer completely different experiences with many twists, which other players may not even see depending on their choices.
