Blair Witch: the adventure is coming soon to Oculus Quest

In conjunction with the arrival of Halloween 2020, a re-edition of the well-known work will be re-proposed Hooter Witch, through the Oculus Quest Edition. This is a reinterpretation of the original game developed exclusively for the VR viewer, in order to create an even more enveloping and immersive atmosphere by removing the game interface. Without HUD and with not too many items to deal with, the update could be perfect to terrify players in this new perspective. Users will then resume the role of the former policeman Ellis and his trusty canine companion Bullet, to go back into that dark forest shrouded in mystery, but this time in a totally different way than before.

Reliving those moments will not be the same, and surely the game will be able to scare like never before. Blair Witch is a video game developed by Bloober Team, now already known for the disturbing Layers of Fear ed Observer, released in late summer last year. The setting resumes that of the horror films of the same name, but the story begins after the end of the events that occurred during the first. Taking on the role of the aforementioned Ellis, users will have to work together with a search team to find a missing boy. However, the dark forest has something strange, everything is going as it should, and in no time the player will be in danger.

In this new edition optimized for Oculus Rift there will be new features, many small tricks that will dramatically increase your feeling of really finding yourself in 1996 wandering alone in the middle of the trees. While that hasn't stopped the developers from adding a few tidbits to play with Bullet - and maybe take a breather from the protagonist's adventure.
