Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, here are 30 tips to survive

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, here are 30 tips to survive

A few weeks after the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarThe team Activision he proposed to us 30 tips to make each player face the title in the best possible way. In particular, this will be a valid training for both the main campaign and the multiplayer mode, but obviously it will help us survive in the acclaimed Zombies mode. These 30 tips will be very useful in achieving victory regardless of which mode we choose to start the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War adventure. Thanks to these valuable advice we will be able to accompany the agents of the CIA in an attempt to neutralize the threat called "Perseus”, Capable of upsetting the balance of the Cold War after years and years of peace.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Campaign

1. Small steps towards Veteran difficulty. The single player experience offers five difficulties. Especially if this is your first time playing a Call of Duty title, it might not be a good idea to start right away on Veteran or Realism difficulties. If you don't know where to start, try the Recruit or Soldier difficulties. You can change the difficulty later from the pause menu.

2. A clarification on realism. Realism, the higher difficulty than Veteran, removes some of the on-screen hints and all enemies have phenomenal aiming accuracy. This difficulty allows you to experience the campaign in a unique way, but before tackling it it might be a good idea to brush up on your skills.

3. Trapped. The first mission is perfect for learning game mechanics such as aiming, shooting, using equipment, going into cover and moving around. Use this mission to adjust the difficulty and learn what your strengths and weaknesses are with Alex Mason, before creating your own Operator that you will use for the rest of the campaign.

4. Go wild with character creation. From damage upgrades to being able to carry more gear, the psychological profile is the most important part of character creation. Spend two minutes on this section and discover all the options available to create the perfect experience for your play style.

5. Recommended psychological profile for new players. If you often find yourself with little life or prefer to have a few more seconds before a premature death, choose the Survivor psychological profile, which increases health by 25%, or Reliable, which reduces damage taken while standing by 30%.

6. Explore the refuge. The shelter is not only the hub for missions, it is also the place to talk to your teammates and to have a look at the information gathered. When you want to take a break from the countryside, give yourself a couple of minutes to rest at the shelter before diving back into history.

7. Red means death. When your screen starts to turn red, your health is dangerously low. When this happens, you should stay away from enemies and wait a few seconds to regain health… otherwise you'll have to resume the mission from the last checkpoint.

8. Get shelter quickly and often. At higher difficulties, a full-armed approach to battle can result in a real disaster. Seek cover, peek only when the enemy is reloading and return fire or throw an item of equipment.

9. Always take advantage of eliminations. By holding down the melee button, you will activate the elimination that allows you to grab the enemy and use them as a shield before finishing them off and throwing them at a group of enemies with an explosive surprise. Use it whenever you get the chance, it can be extremely effective against large groups when there aren't many shelters.

10. Check all angles. In addition to protecting yourself from enemy soldiers, remember these words especially during the campaign to find new dialogue options. Play the campaign again and find different ways to accumulate information, although to do so you will have to break a couple of bones ...

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Multiplayer

1. Tips on Create a class from predefined equipment. The five predefined gear are great examples of how to build solid custom gear. If you don't know where to start to build custom equipment, take inspiration from the predefined ones and then adapt it to your needs.

2. Review the statistics. The Gunsmith is a must for all the best players. Here you can review all the stats that determine a weapon's damage, range, and overall performance. Before trying a new weapon or accessory, check with the Gunsmith how it matches the weapon configuration you are used to.

3. Combined weapons: the vehicle for success. Given the size of the 12v12 Combo Weapons maps, don't forget to use vehicles like dirtbikes and jet skis to reach your goals faster. Otherwise, if there are a lot of enemies, choose a larger vehicle like a tank or an assault boat, to clear the way and help your team advance.

4. Dirty Bomb Assault team, exploration leads to domination. Spend some time exploring buildings and other areas to find crates that can hold uranium and armor, as well as self-reviving kits and scoring sets. While it's tempting to jump right into the fray right away, exploration can provide you and your team with some tools that could turn the tide, not to mention uranium to trigger and detonate the dirty bomb.

5. Reporting of objectives. If there are goals in the mode, they are marked on the map by an icon, set as a goal from which you can see the distance that separates you. In Location mode, you will be able to discover the location of the next target 10 seconds before it is activated. Change your strategies based on these goals, and in addition to helping your team win, you'll also get a points bonus for every catch.

6. A low set of points is better than none. If you can't get high point streaks, there's no shame in equipping one that requires fewer points. Some, like Spy Plane, provide team-wide benefits and award you bonus XP for each companion you help. Even a well-placed RC-XD can take out an entire team clustered around a target.

7. You can save the series of armament-type points for later. After activating a series of armament-type points such as a battle bow or war machine, you can use it until you die or run out of ammo. This means you can switch between primary and secondary weapons if necessary (like a shotgun for close-range combat), or store ammo for a more challenging fight.

8. How to get high point streaks. Linking kills is key when trying to reach a series of spots like the assault helicopter or gunship. The points earned from kills gradually multiply with each kill performed over the same lifetime, and for every five kills you get a large bonus points. Be careful to keep your health up and find an advantageous position to rack up kills, but don't stand still waiting for enemies to come to you.

9. Build up the challenges. Level up faster and get equipment items by completing challenges, which can be found in the menu next to the Operator section. Do your best to complete multiple challenges at a time, composing your gear to tackle multiple objectives for specific weapons, specialties, gear, and wildcards, and play modes that allow you to earn the most XP.

10. Seasonal prestige: essential for achieving glory. Did you get all the gear items? Well. Keep leveling up to unlock the Weapon of the Season blueprint and earn profile items with Season Prestige. This path to prestige will lead you to unlock new seasonal challenges as well, which provide additional business cards by completing some of the game's toughest objectives.

Zombi

1. Remember: progress is shared. As you level up in multiplayer you get gear items in Zombies, and all weapon experience and accessories are shared between modes. The more you play in the various modes, the easier it will be to reach the toughest waves.

2. An area to try out weapons. Without upgrades, the weapons you use in Zombies are the same as those you use in multiplayer. Here you will have the chance to try out new weapons and accessories while having fun fighting the undead.

3. The mysterious chest: risk versus reward. While spending points on a random weapon may seem risky, the Mystery Chest could provide you with new and powerful weapons, including the iconic beam gun and more rare weapons than you currently own. If you have points set aside, look for the light in the sky and be guided to the mysterious chest to upgrade your arsenal… maybe. Remember that the chances of getting a rare weapon from the Mystery Chest increase as the rounds advance.

4. Don't underestimate the melee. Yes, you can equip the battle knife, and yes, carrying a knife in a fight with the undead is a great idea. This is because it is an indestructible tool and can be very useful in the early stages for storing points for a purchase from the walls or for opening a mysterious chest. You will just have to be very careful not to get hit by zombies when you try to kill them.

5. Collect resources. After killing a zombie, it will drop pieces of materials. Don't ignore them! Collect them when no one is around and go to the work station to craft tactical gear and other items that may come in handy in later rounds.

6. An elite player's move: use armaments at the right time. You may be tempted to use a large streak or field upgrade as soon as you have them, but saving them for more challenging threats is a better strategy. Whether you're facing a huge wave of zombies or an elite undead army, having the assault helicopter, robot turrets and field upgrades at your fingertips can make all the difference.

7. Follow the instructions, achieve salvation. "Die Maschine" includes a handy step-by-step guide to help your team reactivate the power, start all the machines on the map, and unlock the Pack-a-Punch machine, a powerful device that upgrades weapons and gradually makes strong as the waves of zombies increase. In other words, completing these initial goals is critical to achieving success and overcoming the waves.

8. Kills aren't the only way to get points. After activating the current in “Die Maschine”, you will have the opportunity to complete additional game challenges to earn points. While these challenges may require you to kill zombies with a certain weapon or stay in a certain area, it's an extremely effective method of earning points and other rewards.

9. You don't have to sacrifice yourself for the cause. Completing a drawing rewards you and your team for surviving one last wave before escaping the map. After calling the extraction, take cover and fend off the undead horde one last time for bonus XP and a chance to receive Aetherium crystals to upgrade abilities.

10. Teamwork is essential. Zombies is a cooperative gaming experience! Gather a team of friends or communicate frequently with your random companions using the new location system and make sure everyone is able to face the rising waves of undead and uncover all the secrets of the map
