Cyberpunk 2077: A player gave birth to the Mantis Blades

Cyberpunk 2077: A player gave birth to the Mantis Blades

A little over two months have passed since the launch of cyberpunk 2077, following numerous delays in its development of over seven years. Although the game has faced significant criticism due to performance issues between systems and misleading marketing allegations, it has still received a lot of praise from gamers around the world. With Cyberpunk 2077's incredible sales success, it should come as no surprise that many cosplayer have decided to wear clothes inspired by the game. The Redditor dharma_adnyana decided to design and create his own version of a well-known weapon in the game: within the 9-second video uploaded to the official r / cyberpunk subreddit, the user showed his Mantis blades do it yourself, very fascinating and unique.

While the weapon doesn't have the same ornate design found in Cyberpunk 2077, it's still an impressive creation worthy of attention. The post is making a good impression on the gaming community, with beyond 300 comments along with a positive vote of 92%. He has also received a Gold Award along with numerous other honors from Reddit. A much more in-depth look at the creation process behind the Mantis Blades was provided on his Youtube channel: the craftsman also showed how the blades were formed. Mantis Blades may be one of the most easily identifiable elements of the developer's latest RPG CD Project Red based on the board game of the same name.

The Mantis Blades were presented as early as 2013 in first marketing campaign of Cyberpunk 2077 with the initial presentation trailer. Dharma_adnyana even showed the original concept art of Cyberpunk 2077 in its demo video. Despite the positive news, the Polish company is not going through one of its best periods and - among other things - it has been more than 2 months since the title was removed from the PlayStation Store.
