Cyberpunk 2077: patch 1.2 initially scheduled for February postponed

During the past few hours, CD Projekt RED announced through its main social channels the postponement of the patch of which the release was initially scheduled during the current month, February 2021. The study wanted to justify its decision by citing the colossal dimensions of the update in question and the recent cyber attack against the infrastructure of the team. Work on the release of the update 1.2 they will therefore need more time: despite this, the hopes of some users still seem to remain firm:

While we strongly wanted to provide you with Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 in the time frame described above, the recent cyber attack on the studio infrastructure and the wide scope of the update mean that sadly this won't happen - we will need additional time. We have worked on numerous improvements and fixes, and we still have a lot of work to do to make sure this is what you get.

The company has decided to fix the second half of March as a new launch window for this patch, which follows the previous update 1.1 released as planned last January. We therefore have nothing else to do but wait until next month, with CD Projekt RED that will do everything possible to appease the wait with updates and news that will be provided to us - according to them - about it before its publication. The date on which cyberpunk 2077 will return within the PlayStation Store it probably becomes more and more distant as a result, with the removal that now took place over 2 months ago.

In addition to this, in the list of projects arriving by the end of this year there is also the update that will allow the title to natively exploit the computing power of the next gen.
