Days Gone: Steam reveals the PC requirements, and they're not bad at all

As you well know in the past few hours Jim Ryan, president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, during a long interview with the microphones of GQ revealed that after Horizon Zero Dawn and Death Stranding other exclusive titles of the PlayStation consoles will soon arrive on PC, starting from Days Gone this spring. Recently Steam has made available an official page of the game, which in addition to giving us a short infographic on the adventure of Deacon St. John, allows us to take a closer look at the hardware resources required by the latest effort of SIE Bend Studio.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
    • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K@3.3GHz or AMD FX 6300@3.5GHz
    • Memory: 8 GB of RAM
    • Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4 GB)
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Memory: 70 GB of available space

    Recommended requirements:

    • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
    • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K@3.5GHz or Ryzen 5 1500X@3.5GHz
    • Memory: 16 GB of RAM
    • Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8 GB)
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Memory: 70 GB of available space

Although the requirements are far from exorbitant, the use of an SSD as internal storage memory is recommended in both configurations. At the moment we don't know when it will debut Days Gone on PC, since Jim Ryan did not unbutton too much on the subject, revealing only the launch window set for spring 2021. Waiting to find out more details on the next Sony port, we remind you that the action-adventure developed by SIE Bend Studio is already available for purchase on PlayStation 4.
