Dead or Alive: Koei Tecmo is suing the creators of a hot DVD

Through a official announcement published in Japanese between the pages of the site of Koei Tecmo, the Software House founded in 2009 in Yokohama (Japan) has announced that it has filed complaint against an unspecified individual for the making and selling on DVD of videos with high content (or "hot", if you prefer), based on some graphic mods applied to the polygonal models of the protagonists of the series Dead or Alive, who then appear completely naked.

In particular, the chapter hit by this series of sexually explicit footage is Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation, although other video games have also been affected. The changes made to the movies allowed their creator to completely undress the characters of the series Dead or Alive, to bring to life the hot scenes that have been burned and sold on plain DVD media on an unspecified auction site. Despite some changes made to the appearance of the characters, Koei Tecmo considers the entire transaction a violation of its own copyright linked to one of the most famous and most loved fighting series by players all over the world. The company has initiated both civil and criminal action against the suspect, who will also be required to return all the material created following - in fact - the violation of copyright and unauthorized distribution.

The latest installment in the Dead or Alive series to be released is Dead or Alive 6 (our review here), which debuted simultaneously worldwide on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 1. The series is also known for spin off entitled Xtreme, which focus particularly on the female characters that make up the roster of the various official chapters.
