Rumors surrounding 2oth Century Fox films monopolized the years before and after the takeover by Disney, but among the many information the most requested concerns the Marvel Cinematic Universe: since the rights of the films of the House of Ideas have been separated for some time, now that they are all reunited under the big D there remains the question of how to fit them together. Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, has been working on this for some time, and it seems that some information is now starting to leak. It starts right from Deadpool 3, third chapter dedicated to the chatty mercenary, which will be integrated into the MCU.
Attention, there is no talk of fake integration, where the character remains only tangent to the world he was born with Iron Man thanks to a few well-placed jokes, but he'll just be a part of it. Steve Weintraub of Collider recently spoke to Kevin Feige regarding the WandaVision TV series, arriving on January 15th, and during the conversation Feige himself gave this update regarding the third installment of the series with Ryan Reynolds. The other two pieces of information on Deadpool 3 concern the rating and the shooting start date: it seems that the film will keep its R-Rating, therefore remaining a film that will need a parent for children under 17. For the start date, however, the expected year is 2022.
The film will be Rated R and we are working on the script now (Ryan Reynolds is reading the script now)… it won't be shot this year. Ryan is very busy, a truly successful actor. We have quite a few things that we have already announced and now we have to do, but it is great to think that we have started that too. Again, he's a very different character from the MCU classics, and Ryan is a force of nature, it's going to be great to see him bring this character to life.
We remind you that among the many films in the works, there are Thor 4, Spider-Man 3, Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2, so we will have to wait a long time before reviewing - and resent - Dead Pool.
