Ghostbusters: Legacy, first official trailer released

Ghostbusters: Legacy, first official trailer released

It was finally released by Sony Pictures Entertainment the first official trailer of the new and highly anticipated movie titled Ghostbusters: Legacy (viewable at the top of the article). The film, which in the original language will be called Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be released in the summer of 2020.

Born 35 years ago from the hands of Dan Aykroyd with the help of the director Ivan Reitman (who will also be the producer of this new chapter), the new film will be directed by his son Jason Reitman who will also be the writer along with Gil Kenan. Needless to say, how much the film is expected all over the world after the misstep of 2016 which saw the re-launch of the acclaimed cult with a completely female cast. After only 4 years here is a new reboot and this time with the entire cast, or almost, of the first and original chapter Ghostbusters.

Among the faces that we will be able to see at the cinema there will in fact be that of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts; the only actor who unfortunately will not be able to take part in the new film is the late Harold Ramis.

This is the synopsis of the film:

Arriving in a small town, a single mother and her two children begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy left by their grandfather. Ghostbusters: Legacy is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan.
